Download Seqtrix for Windows
One app for Windows automation, file encryption and Focus Lock. Free plan, no account, cloud sync off by default. The Microsoft Store is the quickest way in; both options install the same app and include the same 15-day Advanced trial.
Microsoft Store
The same app, installed and kept up to date by the Store. Microsoft signs the Store package, so it installs without a SmartScreen prompt.
Opens the Seqtrix listing on the Microsoft Store website in a new tab.

- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64)
- Updates
- Built in. The app checks the release mirror and verifies each update's signature before installing it.
- Account
- None. Locks, the vault and secure delete run on your PC and never use the network. The trial and paid passes check your plan online: without a connection the app falls back to the free plan at its next check, within 30 minutes, until it can check again.
Verify the download
Open PowerShell in the folder you saved the file to and compare the output with the SHA-256 above. A match means the file is byte for byte what we published.
Get-FileHash .\Seqtrix_0.16.0_x64-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256About the SmartScreen prompt
The direct installer carries no publisher signature yet, so the first run can show "Windows protected your PC". Check the SHA-256 above, then choose More info and Run anyway. If you would rather skip the prompt entirely, install from the Microsoft Store.

A good first sequence
Windows 11 cannot put a password on a folder; a Seqtrix sequence with one Security Lock step can, with AES-256 and a password you choose:
- Choose New sequence under Create in the left rail. While the new sequence is still empty, click the Security tab, then double-click Security Lock. That one step is the whole sequence.
- Under Choose Security Action pick Encrypt, then under Select Target click Folders and Browse to the folder. Type a long Encryption Password and keep a copy in your password manager. Leave Unlock Mode on Manual, type a name in the Sequence Name box and click Save Sequence.
- On Home, point at Actions on the sequence and click the play button, Execute. The folder becomes one .sflocked file. To open it again, double-click that file, type the password and choose Decrypt & Open.
The guide to encrypting a file on Windows without BitLocker sets up the same lock for a single file, and the guide to password-protecting a folder on Windows 11 covers what Windows itself can do.
What's new in v0.16.0
Focus Lock blocks the apps and websites that pull you away, Time Saved shows what your sequences give back, and a pass now warns before it ends and renews inside the app. Read the full changelog.
