What Seqtrix adds to a folder lock
A security sequence can encrypt, hide or password-lock several folders every evening at 18:00, when you open a chosen app, or from a hotkey, and on Advanced when a file lands in a folder. Starter runs 2 security sequences.
Set an Unlock At time on an Encrypt, Password Lock or Hide step and the item comes back at that time, even if Seqtrix was closed when it came due. If the time cannot be read or has passed, the step stops and nothing is locked.
One chord you record locks Windows within a second, then locks Master Mode and encrypts the folders on your Panic list in the background, with a notification when done. Every plan.
Forget the password and the 24-word recovery key Seqtrix showed you once opens Master Mode, your vaults and the files you locked while Master Mode was unlocked. Seqtrix never keeps a copy.

Hiding keeps a folder out of sight, but its files stay unencrypted, so anyone who knows where to look, or software that reads the disk, can still open them. Encryption changes the bytes so they cannot be read without the key, even when copied to another PC. Seqtrix does both: Hide Basic and Hide Deep for clutter, and Encrypt or Password Lock (AES-256-GCM) for anything that would hurt if it were found. Folder Lock and Wise Folder Hider also offer encryption next to hiding.

Encrypt, Hide and Password Lock are steps in a security sequence, and the sequence can run on a schedule, when a chosen app opens or from a global hotkey on every plan, or when a file lands in a folder on Advanced. An Unlock At time brings the item back on its own, and the Panic hotkey locks Windows and encrypts the folders on your Panic list in one press.
Seqtrix shows a 24-word recovery key once, the first time you set up or unlock Master Mode, with Print and Save as PDF. If you forget the password, it opens Master Mode, your vaults and the files you locked while Master Mode was unlocked. Seqtrix never keeps a copy, so store the key somewhere safe: without it or the password, an encrypted file stays locked.
Nothing is deleted. After a pass ends everything keeps running for 3 days; from day 4, sequences beyond the free 5 pause until you renew, and vault files stay openable. Passes do not renew by themselves, so there is no charge you did not choose.
