Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. What we sell
Seqtrix sells a software-as-a-service subscription to the Seqtrix desktop application for Microsoft Windows and the companion web portal at seqtrix.com. Two paid tiers are available: Advanced (INR 299 / month, approximately US$3.50) and Pro (INR 599 / month, approximately US$7). A free Starter tier is available indefinitely. All paid plans are billed as recurring monthly subscriptions in Indian Rupees and processed through our payment processor.
What the subscription includes. The licence covers installation and use of the Seqtrix desktop application and all of its bundled features for the subscribed tier - the visual sequence builder, action types (open application, type text, run command, schedule, encrypt file, etc.), the Mini Mode launcher, cloud account, and the in-app template library. Templates are pre-built automation sequences shipped inside the app; they are software functionality, not separately purchased digital files. Starter includes a small set of quick-start templates, Advanced unlocks the day-to-day workflow categories, and Pro unlocks every available template including the specialised categories. The current template library and per-tier breakdown is always visible at /templates.
2. Free 15-day Advanced trial
Every new install of Seqtrix begins with a free 15-day Advanced trial with no payment, no card required, and no obligation to subscribe. The trial gives you full access to paid Advanced features so you can evaluate them before committing to a paid plan. The trial is anchored to your device and is the canonical opportunity to decide whether Seqtrix is right for you.
3. No refunds
Because of the free 15-day Advanced trial described in Section 2, paid subscriptions to Seqtrix are non-refundable. Once a charge is made for a billing cycle, it cannot be refunded - whether it is your first payment or a subsequent renewal. By starting a paid subscription you confirm that you have had a full opportunity to evaluate the paid features during the free trial and you accept this no-refund policy.
This policy applies to both Indian and international customers. To stop being charged in the future, cancel your subscription before the next renewal date - see Section 4 below.
4. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from seqtrix.com/account/billing by clicking Cancel at period end.
- Cancellation stops future renewals only. You retain full access to paid features through the end of the cycle you have already paid for. After that date your account automatically reverts to the free Starter tier and no further charges are made.
- You may also cancel immediatelyusing the optional “Cancel now” control. Immediate cancellation forfeits the remaining days of the current paid cycle without a refund - we recommend “Cancel at period end” in most cases so you continue to use what you have already paid for.
5. International customers
Prices are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) with an approximate US Dollar equivalent shown for reference. Non-Indian customers will see the equivalent amount in their local currency at the checkout page, calculated by our payment processor using the prevailing interbank exchange rate at the time of payment. Seqtrix is not responsible for foreign-transaction or currency-conversion fees charged by your issuing bank.
6. Service-failure credit
The no-refund policy in Section 3 does not apply to a verified, sustained Seqtrix-side outage. If a paid feature is materially unavailable due to a Seqtrix-side service failure exceeding 48 continuous hours within a single billing cycle, contact help@seqtrix.com and we will issue a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected portion of the cycle.
7. Failed renewal payments
If a renewal payment fails (for example because the card has expired or has insufficient balance), our payment processor retries the charge per its standard dunning schedule. Your account remains on the paid tier during the retry window, typically 3 to 7 days. If all retries fail, the account is automatically downgraded to the free Starter tier. Your local data on the desktop app is not deleted; you regain full paid access by updating the payment method and resubscribing.
8. Chargebacks & disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorised, please contact help@seqtrix.com before raising a chargeback with your card issuer. We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve billing disputes amicably. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any unused subscription period.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes apply only to new subscriptions and renewals after the change-effective date; existing in-cycle subscriptions remain governed by the policy in effect when the cycle began. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
