1. Who we are
Seqtrix is run by Param Nimbark, a solo founder in Ahmedabad, India. This policy covers seqtrix.com and the Seqtrix desktop application. Write to help@seqtrix.com for anything about your data. Param Nimbark is also the grievance officer under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
2. What we collect and why

We never see your card, UPI or bank details. Our payment partner holds them.
3. What stays on your device
The Seqtrix app works without an account. Your sequences, schedules, hotkeys, settings and your encrypted vault live on your computer and nowhere else, unless you turn on a feature that sends them:
- Cloud sync (off by default): sends a copy of your sequences to our database. Sequences you encrypted are sent as ciphertext; we cannot read them.
- Share (your action): sends the one sequence you publish to the gallery, after you review what it contains. Typed text is left out by default and anything marked as a password is refused.
- Crash reports (off by default since version 0.16): send the stack trace, app version, Windows version, the screen you were on and the error type. Never your sequences, file paths or vault.
- Usage statistics (off by default): send named events such as “sequence ran” with the app version. Never sequence names, bodies, commands, file paths or anything you typed. Your IP address and page addresses are blocked from the payload.
- Update check: the app fetches a small version file from our release server. No identifier is attached.
Everything else, including what your sequences do on your PC, never leaves it. Crash reports and usage statistics are switched in Settings > Privacy and can be turned off again at any time.
4. Who processes your data for us
These are the only categories of provider that handle data for us, and what each one does. We name each provider on request: email help@seqtrix.com.

Seqtrix is operated from India. Some providers store data outside India, as the table shows. Each one processes data under its own data-processing terms with us; we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
5. Retention

6. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and, if you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR, you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy (access and export);
- ask us to correct it;
- ask us to delete it, except what tax law makes us keep;
- withdraw consent at any time: crash reports, usage statistics and cloud sync in Settings > Privacy; site cookies by clearing your browser's storage for seqtrix.com;
- object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interest;
- complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your EU or UK data protection authority.
Email help@seqtrix.com. We check that the request comes from the account holder, usually by replying to the account email, and answer within 30 days. There is no charge.
7. Cookies
Signing in sets the session cookies needed to keep you signed in. Arriving through a referral link sets one 30-day cookie holding the referral code. Analytics cookies are set only after you click Accept on the cookie banner; Decline sets none, and your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. Your theme choice also lives in local storage. The banner exists because of the analytics cookies; everything else is strictly necessary. The cookie-free page analytics set no cookie and read nothing from your browser, so they run without the banner.
8. Children
You must be 18 or older to create an account or buy a pass. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email help@seqtrix.com and we will delete it.
9. Security and breach notice
Data between your device and our providers travels over TLS. Files you encrypt in the app are protected with AES-256-GCM, and the keys never leave your device: we cannot decrypt, recover or reset them. If a breach affects your personal data, we tell the affected users by email without undue delay, with what happened, what data was involved and what we are doing about it, and we notify the authorities the law requires.
10. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, the date at the top changes, and we announce material changes on this page and, for registered users, by email before they apply. Questions, requests and complaints: help@seqtrix.com.
