Control Windows apps and automations by voice
Windows can already take dictation and click things by voice. What it cannot do is run your saved automation by name. Seqtrix adds exactly that: say a sequence name or a slot number in Mini Mode and it fires - hands-free, offline, with nothing recorded. One phrase can open your whole workspace.
Why it recognises your commands so reliably
Seqtrix hands the recognizer the exact phrases to expect - your sequence names, "slot one" to "slot eight", and "stop listening". Matching against a short, known list is far more accurate than transcribing open-ended dictation.
Recognition uses the speech engine built into Windows. No GPU, no model download, no account, and no audio ever leaves the machine.
A match below a confidence threshold is dropped rather than guessed, and security sequences are never in the command list, so voice can never encrypt, lock, or delete anything.
Set it up in Seqtrix
- 1Install Seqtrix and assign a few sequences
Download Seqtrix for Windows, build (or describe) a couple of sequences, and assign your most-used ones to the Mini Mode ring slots.
- 2Open Mini Mode and turn on Voice control
Bring up the floating Mini Mode ring, right-click it, and choose Voice control. Seqtrix loads the names of your sequences as the commands it will listen for.
- 3Say the sequence name or its slot
Speak a sequence by name ("run morning boot") or by position ("slot three"). Seqtrix matches it and runs it. Because it only listens for your actual command list, recognition stays reliable.
- 4Stop when you are done
Say "stop listening" or toggle it off. Push-to-talk listens for one command and stops on its own; hands-free always-listening keeps going until you stop it.
What you can say
- • “run morning boot” - a sequence by name, with or without “run” or “start”.
- • “slot three” - a Mini Mode slot by position, one through eight.
- • “stop listening” - end the voice session, hands-free.
FAQ
No. It uses the speech recognition already built into Windows, which runs entirely on your machine. Nothing is recorded and nothing is sent anywhere - Seqtrix only ever receives the matched command text, not audio.
No. Unlike large voice models, this uses the offline recognizer that ships with Windows 10 and 11, so there is no model download and no GPU requirement. You just need a working microphone.
No. Any sequence containing a security action (encrypt, lock, secure-delete) is never added to the voice command list, so it simply cannot be triggered by voice. On top of that, low-confidence matches are ignored rather than guessed at.
Push-to-talk voice - tap to speak one command - is on every plan, including the free Starter tier. Hands-free, always-listening voice is part of the Advanced and Pro plans.
The name of any of your non-security sequences (optionally prefixed with "run" or "start"), a Mini Mode slot by number ("slot one" through "slot eight"), or "stop listening" to end the session.
Voice Access controls the operating system - clicking, dictating, moving windows. Seqtrix voice control runs your own multi-step automations by name, so one phrase can open several apps, wait, type, and run commands in order.
